YOGEN (real name: Yevhen Volodymyrovych Kiligyn) is a Ukrainian pop singer, actor, songwriter, and performer born on October 23, 1995, in Yuzhnoukrainsk, Ukraine.
From an early age, YOGEN stood out as a vibrant stage presence. He began performing at the age of 4, taking part in folk dance groups and later joining the “Galateya” vocal theatre, where he won multiple national and international music competitions, including Moloda Halychyna, Spivogray, and Divo Pisnya.
In 2016, he graduated from the Academy of Variety and Circus Arts with a degree in directing stage and show programs. Before launching his solo career, YOGEN toured internationally with Lolita Milyavskaya, performed in the musical “Broadway” in South Korea, and became the frontman of the Ukrainian boy band LUCKY4 (2016–2019), known for hits like “Після концерту” and “Назавжди”.
A finalist in Season 9 of The X-Factor Ukraine, YOGEN launched his solo career in 2021 with the emotional debut single “Тане”. His style blends pop with dramatic theatricality, vulnerability, and strength. In 2022, he released several impactful songs including “Нуар”, and the English-language anthem “NOT SLAVES” in collaboration with Mark Kvitka — a tribute to Ukrainian resilience.
YOGEN is also a fashion ambassador and model, having represented Ukrainian designer Andre Tan and other brands. Off stage, he is known for his active role as a volunteer and cultural voice during wartime.
