For the past two and a half years, audiences, musicians, and promoters have started evaluating concerts based on several, not-so-traditional criteria. At the top of the list (yes!) is still how the band plays, how Andriy Khlyvnyuk sings, whether the band still has that rock ‘n’ roll magic, or if it’s time to call it quits. Equally important is what Andriy says from the stage. And trust me, he never minces his words. Fans of *Vakhtyory* might be better off staying home—don’t say you weren’t warned.
A crucial factor is how much money the band brings in, where it’s spent, and how transparently it’s reported. And perhaps the hardest part—the one the general public doesn’t see—is figuring out how to avoid bankrupting the audience with ticket prices, making sure the promoter earns something, and ensuring that the musicians don’t look like a bunch of slackers dreaming of lounging on a beach instead of working and serving.
Let’s say you’ve convinced Khlyvnyuk to file for unpaid leave (no more than once every 3–4 months), spent €140,000 from the previous tour on drones, Mavics, FPVs, Starlinks, generators, and more, and made all the necessary deals for the next stage of the Drone Tour. Who are you? You’re a legend. Just like our tour director, the *molfar* from Rusanivka, Vova Havaets. He’s the one who carefully selected the cities for *Boombox*’s spring tour.
We’ll travel through eight countries, play 14 (or maybe even more) concerts, all between March and April. And believe me, the way you buy tickets will have a huge impact. It’s not about a new car for the producer—it’s about the needs of the guys and girls holding back the enemy.
It feels strange to write about what’s coming in the tour after all that, but here you go—expect *Firtka*, *Kalyna*, *Naodyntsi*, *Kvity v volossi*, *Polina*, *Pravda*, *Tviy na 100%*, *Trymay mene*, plus another 12–14 songs. And an auction. And merch. Jealous already?
