20 Days in Mariupol is an Oscar-winning documentary that offers a harrowing firsthand account of the early days of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Captured by Associated Press journalists trapped in the besieged city of Mariupol, the film provides undeniable evidence of Russian war crimes—the relentless bombing of civilian areas, the destruction of hospitals, and the killing of innocent people. It is a raw and unfiltered chronicle of brutality, resilience, and the critical role of journalism in exposing the truth.

To mark the third anniversary of the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine, the European Federation of Journalists, in collaboration with the Center of Photojournalism Géopolis, invites you to a special screening in Brussels.

All proceeds from ticket donations will go to the Journalists’ Solidarity Centers, supporting media workers in need.
