«Perły Opery» – Najpiękniejsze arie

On September 20, 2026, the Miejski Dom Kultury in Zgorzelec hosts «Perły Opery» («Pearls of Opera») – a concert presenting the most beautiful arias from the world’s greatest operas and operettas. The evening begins at 18:00.

«Perły Opery» offers something rare: opera as a living, breathing, deeply personal experience. Through emotionally charged interpretations and a subtle, modern approach to classical music, the programme invites audiences to discover opera not as a distant art form but as one that speaks directly to their own emotions and memories. The repertoire includes one of the most technically demanding arias in the operatic canon – «Casta Diva» – alongside the tender «O mio babbino caro», the vivid «Al pensar» and other extraordinary works that demand both vocal power and extraordinary refinement.

The concert brings together three exceptional musicians. Soprano Katarzyna Czekanowska, winner of the First Prize at the Cambridge Vocalists Competition in 2024 and laureate of multiple international vocal competitions, possesses a rare voice type with an exceptional range and breath technique that allows her to perform both lyrical and dramatic repertoire. Her stage temperament and charisma captivate audiences from the very first note. Flautist Darya Yeliseyeva, laureate of numerous international competitions, studied at the Belarusian State Academy of Music, the Regional Conservatoire in Aubervilliers in Paris, and completed a residency at the International Summer Academy in Nice under Prof. Philippe Bernold of the Paris National Conservatoire. For five years she served as a soloist with the Belarusian State Philharmonic. Pianist Anastasia Bouria, honoured at the prestigious VIII Stockholm International Music Competition among others, spent two decades at the Belarusian State Academy of Music as a pedagogue and concertmaster. In 2022 she co-founded the Alba Music Trio in Wrocław. She has performed in Norway, Germany, Austria and Italy.
