The pioneers of Swedish psy-ambient, Carbon Based Lifeforms, are setting off on a large-scale transcendent journey – and for the first time in their 30-year history they will reach Georgia! The project of Johannes Hedberg and Daniel Vadestrid, whose releases on Ultimae Records have long held the status of sacred texts of the genre, is bringing to Tbilisi not just a concert but a monumental audiovisual ritual.

The main point of gravity of this evening is the 20th anniversary of the canonical album “World of Sleepers” – a work that long ago entered the pantheon of the key creations of modern ambient music. Guests will have a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the hypnotic depth of this cult masterpiece: the duo will present refreshed, meticulously reimagined live versions of favourites from “World of Sleepers” in synergy with the most important material of recent years, including revelations from the record “Seeker” (2023).

The significance of this event is special: guests of the Tbilisi concert will have the rare privilege of being among the first listeners to hear a completely new, still unreleased composition from the upcoming album. The setlist will bring back both the immortal anthems that have withstood the test of decades and the duo’s latest explorations into the deepest dimensions of sound.
