On August 1, 2026, the Dutch town of Medemblik becomes the stage for one of the most unique events of the summer – HEROES RIDE FESTIVAL 2026. From 12:00 to 21:00, the grounds of Oorlogsmuseum Medemblik host a full-day programme that brings together motorcyclists, veterans, rock music fans and anyone who believes that freedom is worth celebrating.
The festival’s headliner is TUFAN – the legendary vocalist of Grandma’s Smuzi – joined by Pop/Rock Avenue and special guests. But this is more than a rock concert. The day begins with a historic motorcycle ride along the scenic roads of North Holland, with a specially designed route that passes through World War II sites. Veterans ride alongside members of the Dutch and international biker community, and the Oorlogsmuseum provides the backdrop that gives the whole event its meaning.
Throughout the day, the festival grounds offer photo zones, a motorcycle exhibition, a charity fair and a raffle. HeroCare International and the festival partners invite veterans to attend as guests of honour – with full access to all festival activities free of charge.
The evening concert programme begins at 17:00 with Pop/Rock Avenue, special guests, and TUFAN closing the night.
