Ukrainian MODERN THEATRE brings its acclaimed premiere production «Konotopska Vidma» («Wiedźma z Konotopu») to Łódź on July 24, 2026 at 19:00 at Teatr DOM.
Based on the satirical-fantastical novella by Hryhoriy Kvitka-Osnovyanenko, directed by Dmytro Rachkovskyi, the show merges ancient Ukrainian myths, Konotop-style humour and a bold contemporary take on a classic. Ancient legends dissolve into mystical phantasmagoria – a fairy tale for adults with a very unexpected and sharp finale.
Colourful costumes, mystical lighting and a rich folkloric universe create an atmosphere unlike anything else. The incredible synergy of the Modern Theatre cast keeps the audience gripped from the first to the last minute.
