LESAN

LESAN is the creative pseudonym of Oleksandr Kruhlyi, a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, arranger, and music producer from the town of Kobeliaky in the Poltava region. Born into a musical family, Oleksandr was surrounded by melodies and rhythms from early childhood. His father, a professional musician, became his first mentor and role model — nurturing a deep love for music and instilling pride in Ukrainian cultural roots.
From the age of four, Oleksandr was actively involved in performing arts. He started with Ukrainian folk dance in the “Kvity Ukrainy” ensemble and later pursued vocal performance. After graduating from high school, he enrolled in the Academy of Variety and Circus Arts in Kyiv, where he studied music direction and vocal performance. There, he began to shape his signature sound — a fusion of heartfelt lyrics, youthful energy, and modern pop aesthetics.
The name LESAN was born from a simple yet symbolic rearrangement of letters in his real name, creating a stage persona that feels both personal and powerful.
Driven by authenticity and emotion, LESAN doesn’t just sing — he writes, arranges, and mixes his own tracks. He also collaborates with other artists, crafting full arrangements and bringing creative ideas to life. His music is not limited by genre but is united by a strong sense of identity and purpose: to represent and amplify the voice of modern Ukrainian youth.
In 2021, LESAN gained wider recognition through his participation in the popular Ukrainian TV show “Spivaiut Vsi” (“Everyone Sings”), where he showcased his vocal talent and stage charisma to a national audience. Around the same time, his songs began gaining momentum on TikTok, turning into viral sensations that resonated with thousands of young listeners.
In addition to his solo career, LESAN contributed to the “Magic Brothers: Kings of Magic” stage show, held at Kyiv’s Palace of Sports. He helped create musical numbers for the production, which attracted thousands of spectators and highlighted his talent not only as a performer but as a music director and creative partner.
Today, LESAN continues to build his name as one of the most promising voices in Ukraine’s pop and indie scene. His music speaks to a generation navigating identity, resilience, love, and the need for connection in uncertain times.
