About the Tour
Ukrainian theatre company Modern Theatre brings its acclaimed premiere «Konotopska Vidma» («Wiedźma z Konotopu») to Poland for three performances in July 2026: Łódź, Warsaw and Kraków – July 24-26.
Directed by Dmytro Rachkovskyi and based on the satirical-fantastical novella by Hryhoriy Kvitka-Osnovyanenko, the show merges ancient Ukrainian myths, sharp Konotop-style humour and a bold contemporary vision. What begins as a comedy transforms into a mystical phantasmagoria – a fairy tale for adults with an unexpected and striking finale.
Colourful costumes, atmospheric lighting and a rich folkloric universe create a world that pulls the audience in from the first moment and never lets go.
